Psychotherapy

In psychotherapy, I help adults address challenges that are negatively impacting their lives so they can work toward achieving their personal, emotional, social, family and school or work-related goals. I specialize in helping people with depressive disorders, generalized anxiety, post-traumatic stress, difficult life transitions and stressors, interpersonal conflicts and low self-esteem.

My style is primarily psychodynamic, which explores one’s feelings and experiences and examines conscious and unconscious defenses that can inhibit one’s capacity to cope with stressors.  I also employ attachment theory, which examines past and current relationships to help understand how one’s patterns of behavior and coping may be impacting wellness.
